The fish processing enterprise Kolkhoz Oktyabr OJSC traces its history back to 1962, and it is a town and village forming Russia’s fishery enterprise in the village of Ustyevoye, Sobolevsky District, Kamchatka Region. The enterprise specializes in fish processing and freezing of salmon and bottom-living species. Kolkhoz Oktyabr OJSC constantly improves production processes and technologies, paying special attention to quality control and safety at all production stages.

Main fishing items

Salmon (char, pink salmon, chum salmon, coho salmon, sockeye salmon), flounder, smelt, pollock, capelin, navaga and cod.

Fleet

The fishing fleet of Kolkhoz Oktyabr OJSC consists of 11 small-sized seiner vessels, fishing vessel and the Kapitan Teplyukov floating plant, with a capacity of 80 tons of finished products per day.

Onshore production facilities

Onshore production of Kolkhoz Oktyabr OJSC is carried out at two plants:
  • coastal fish processing plant Ustyevoye (Ustyevoye village, Sobolevsky District) with a production capacity of 180 tons of finished products per day.
  • coastal fish processing plant Kekhta (lower reaches of the Kekhta River, Sobolevsky District) with a production capacity of 250 tons of finished products per day.
